The First Post After 8 months.

People will definitely ask me, "HOW'S LIFE MAN?" I would say in the last 8 months, life has been a roller coaster. Not as in potato chips but an adventure of high and sometime turmoil that turns you inside out and then back to outside in, again and again.

My 2 mentors kind of stepped aside and now it's my turn to become a MD and I got to say that since that has happened, things didn't start as nicely as I thought it would be. I made a couple of mistakes, burnt some people and as a result, burnt myself. The only thing I took heart in is that I am human and I'm learning, other than that, I got to admit that I hated the position I was in as it ate into my soul all the time.

It reached a staged where even until now, I would just rather be alone and not talk to anybody or just border on the surface of things in life so that nothing will get burnt. It also reached a point where I was not able to focus on my wedding preparations. Being a leader is not easy especially when from 3 men it becomes 1 man. But what to do? Life goes on.

The best thing for me in life now is that I am getting MARRIED! Preparations are happening as I type and a lot of follow-up work on furniture, restaurants, blah blah blah are taking place.

In life there is a balance. Unhappiness and happiness. Getting married kind of outweighed the unhappiness and there is so much more I can look forward to in my life. I really love my wife-to-be and I believe that things will look up from here.

An encouragement to myself and for people:

Hello Everybody! I'm back after a month and I tell you man it has been an eventful Sept and Oct. Well most of you are wondering what on earth am I up to, well I got awesome news for you and that is, I GOT MYSELF A WIFE! Yes I am gonna get married in 2011. Stay tuned for more news. In the mean while enjoy the many pics that are on FB and here are those that I haven't added up there for a touch of humour. Enjoy!
Entering a once flooded Starbucks is nice. New non-carpetted floorings and extremely high chairs with just a couple of sofas. Very obvious fear of another, uprising? HA!

This is my Aviom setting when there are too many people talking at the same time.

Yesterday I took out my wisdom tooth and check out the roots man. The are evilllllllll. Evillllll. Evillllllll. I have a swollen face but I managed to solider on the pain for the entire night of the music prac and I got to say that it sucks to not be able to eat solid food. Check out my meal below man
This is totally not me to eat such stuff. According to Benedict, this is abnormal food and for me, it is! Oh well the road to recovery will definitely be a weight loss opportunity and let's just DIG IN and DIG IT!

The last one month I have a thought in my mind. What is the thing that you have done to contribute to society? We see so many people doing great things even to the extent of reducing methane output ads that we see on cabs. Is it really a money making opportunity or a pure contribution? So my next quest is to find the thing that hasn't been done in Singapore and contribute to our society. Then again how will our society accept this movement? Let's research, take a "gamble" and see if it pays off!

Hello Everyone! I've finally blogged after 3 and a half months! I guess I have neglected this space and I think it's time to let you guys know what's happening.

Well, I've been busy training this year's SOT band and also I've had the greatest opportunity to go to Sydney to attend C3's Presence Conference. Below are some pics. Enjoy!

Weather at home has been scorching.

So we took off for cooler places unlike wild geese. HA!

And we came, saw and caught something. Clean sound...
This is for Alan. Uncle wa ai buay jiao!
I met my aunt and we spent some quality time togther. I miss her.
And I met CHC members and this girl is Chengjun's member. Bro your members love you man.
And so I returned to scorching weather but isn't the sunrise lovely?
Well guys, life has been good and even when it's bad, everything has a reason that turns out good. You all will know what I mean. I PROMISE more posts!

GUESS WHO'S BACK! Well 2009 is over and let me show u a glimpse of the things since November till 1st Jan.
We had another show with the kids band for the thanksgiving service and they are getting better. Now they only need 45 mins to master 1 song. Good job!

We did some practise for the fanfare music and this is what I caught Merv doing while we took a break.
We had a week of fasting and this is the pre-fasting meal and we really stuffed ourselves and before we starved ourselves. I got to say that the whole experience of fasting was a good one. I really learnt the meaning of not leaning on your flesh, literally and spiritually. I encourage all of you to join us in this fasting quest. It's good!
My good SOT mates got married and Pastor officiated the wedding! Congrats to Jeremy and Salome! Live a great life together!

So the kids band finally performed and this is Benson giving quantam music theory to Brian our saxophone, guitar and bass player. Well done!
Benedict and I had to try the newly hyped ramen restaurant at Mandarin hotel. Not bad. Good stuff but long queue.
So I met my FSV mates for dinner at Marche at the new 313 Somerset! I think the sheeps look strangely interesting...
The christmas tree at Ion. I got to say they really stick to their theme of lights. Well done. Nice tree.
I managed to catch the fireworks just next to the Fullerton and despite the squeezing and me hating crowds, I got to say I really enjoyed this spectacular display. Hello 2010!

Well friends, I got to say 2009 is a rough year. Some ups and some downs but overall everything has a moral and lesson behind it.

Everytime there's a new year, it's like a clean slate. We start all over again and try to make things right.

On the whole, thank God for 2009 and let's welcome 2010 and kick some butt!!!

I'm back after a month of hiatus and crazy stuff happening around me. Well my life has been all about practise and grinding and recently I'm reaping the fruits. Well last week was Colin and Cherry's wedding and we had a blast with them at Sentosa, not in the private sense but well, a blast! Enjoy the pics below to get a brief idea.
Gavin, Francis, Colin's brothers and I were the Groom's entourage and after the morning, we headed to Sentosa. But in between stuff, I rushed to play for the service at Expo and I headed back in time for a short break. TAKE A HIKE!

So we saw a group of fellas doing the flying fox and boy, someday I got to do this again!!! LOVE IT!!!
Next thing we saw were odd stuff surrounding us. Gavin and I saw this 2 girls posing with a SEAWEED taken off the side of the bridge. Ok it looks really weird as the seaweed isn't green but kind of brown coz it's dead...
Next thing we saw 2 guys pulling each other into the water. Very disturbing...seriously...groping...blah blah blah...but still FUNNY!!! HAHAHA!!!
Next we saw a bunch of guys "surfing". I seriously think they are trying too hard coz there's no real waves in Singapore.
So I bought 2 cans of NAUGHTY G for Colin and Cherry! Did it work? Ask them yourself!
Here they are. Sweetest couple! The day was a miracle. It has been raining nuts and bolts the last few days and on their wedding day, it was bright and sunny! CONGRATS!!!
So the week had to go on and guess what I saw? A monkey climbing the overhead bridge. Sometimes I don't wanna look for weird stuff but they all just happen to be right in front of me all the time! HAHAHA!
Alright mates! I hope you love it! There's much more and I've been getting fresh revelation and finally a channel of ideas for music. It's like suddenly the frustration and irritating things are slowly going off! THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME!!!

Hi Guys! I'm back, rejuvenated after such a crazy gig! I had fun at the MR BIG concert over the weekend and I got to say man!!! This is a crazy gig! I never thought that it would be this fun and this good and boy am I still nuts about this gig!
I love MR BIG because of Mr Paul Gilbert. The band with him is just crazy and insane and this pic is taken during Green Tinted 60s Mind and I got to say this is the most entertaining gig ever!

But before MR BIG, we had the bachelors night for my dear cgl Mr Colin and although we are just a few of us, we are going to make a difference and give hell to the ladies!
This is the backup of the backups which is more kick ass than any other hollowbodies that I've heard and I'm proud to keep this axe! Who says Epiphone don't kick ass?!
So we went for Weishan's 21st birthday party at Siloso Beach Resort after the MR BIG gig and this is what happens on Monday morning when you are too tired. You dig too much dettol soap, yes I just said dettol, and this is what you get! Dettol jacuzzi!
Well the last 1 week has been good. I am beginning to see things clear up. Until now, I have always been the guy on the ground listening, watching out for everyone, and taking care of the troops. I think knowing everyone is an awesome privilege. Thanks for confiding and thanks for trusting. Secrets are safe with me.
